Craftsmanship process

We largely invest in our research and development team in order to bring you the best quality jeans.

01

Creating the fabric

Cotton is harvested by hand or machine and the fiber is separated from the machine in a cotton gin. This fiber is then dried out and twisted together to form a thread. All threads used by us are as per international thread standards.

This process can be done at two stages i.e. yarn | fabric. The classic denim is blue outside and white inside meaning it is dyed at the yarn stage. This is because only the warp yarn is dyed, and weft yarn remains natural.

The dyed yarn is now woven on a shuttle loom or a projectile loom. The process of weaving involves two different sets of yarn being interlaced to form a fabric. The vertical thread is known as WARP and the horizontal thread is referred to as WEFT.

02

Designing the shape

The shape of the jeans is designed in this stage and the patterns are cut from heavy paper or cardboard.

03

Cut & Stitch

Pieces of denim are cut using high speed cutting machines and later sewn in an Assembly Line Fashion.

04

05

Pre-wash

The final and most important stage of denim production. It is about purposely aging the jeans, in order to make it feel worn-in right off the shelf. This includes various steps mainly :

  • Pre-Distressing
  • Laundering,
  • Garment Finishing.
